Norfolk is a low-lying county in East Anglia in the east of southern England. Norfolk has borders with Lincolnshire to the west, Cambridgeshire to the west and southwest and with Suffolk to the south. Norfolks northern and eastern boundaries are the North Sea coast, including The Wash. The Angles, for whom East Anglia and England itself are named, settled in this area in the 5th century and later became the "north folk" and the "south folk," hence, "Norfolk" and Suffolk."
The regional capital of Norfolk is the city of Norwich. Other large towns include King's Lynn and Great Yarmouth.
